zavé is a digital communications expert and multimedia artist with roots in documentary film, community-based theater, and media justice with over ten years experience across advocacy, philanthropy, and the arts.

Prior to Resonance, zavé was the Digital Campaign Manager for Smart Justice at the ACLU, leading the digital efforts of the ACLU's first nation-wide campaign to end mass incarceration. Charged with transforming audience misconceptions and bias against people with criminal records, zavé led flagship education and social impact tools like the Smart Justice 50-State Blueprint and Mass Incarceration: An Animated Series . zavé's commitment to the fight for racial justice within the unjust criminal legal system also led them to work with Van Jones' #cut50 campaign. Before that zavé led communications for Astraea Foundation, a grassroots foundation supporting LGBTQI activist artists, collectives, and organizations across the global South and Eastern Europe.
